AIDES is involved in all issues concerning the improvement of quality of life of people living with HIV or hepatitis.
For many years now, AIDES has been at the forefront of mobilisation for access to social rights and the fight against discrimination: access to complete quality health care, access to employment and a decent wage, access to a residence permit for foreigners who do not have access to treatment in their country.

Our wish :
to make laws and habits move forward in order to improve the quality of life of HIV positive people.
Our objectives :
- To enumerate and ascertain the difficulties HIV positive people meet in their everyday live
- Raise the awareness of the general public and the authorities
- Use lobbying actions to act in favour of social change
Our Actions :
- Legal and social support for access to social rights (social security, income, employment, housing, insurance), and the right to a residence permit for medical reasons
- Inform, accompany, orient, offer private health insurance for people who do not have any
To cope with the difficulties encountered: find individual and collective solutions in collaboration with the (COREVIH) (Regional HIV coordination), react by calling on the public authorities, by mobilisations, by acting with various other organisations like the ODSE (an observatory for foreigners’ rights) the CISS (coalition of health organisations), Chroniques associés, (group of organisations working on chronic illnesses).
