The association

Founded in 1984 and officially recognised as beneficial to the public in 1990, AIDES is the leading French Aids fighting association. Right from the start, the association has aimed at gathering people directly or indirectly affected by Aids for them to be organised in the face of this new blight.

"New therapies have brought solutions to many Aids affected people, allowing them to live well... more or less.
Today, men and women are still getting infected, and many people still live with the virus.
Informing, warning, supporting people is still vital.
This indispensable solidarity makes us act for you, and for all of us.
Acting here, in France, but also with associations in less advanced countries.
Action, here, and solidarity over there.
The fight is not over, and it is wide-ranging."
